Looks like the locals are having a blast with this turn of events.

I appreciate the vendors who took the opportunity to set up shop and earn a few extra euros. Was that gluwein in the opening shots?

Speed skating is pretty much the national sport ... so yeah. That video looks so bawse btw. I was just there last month and the canals weren't frozen at all and people were talking about they hoped the great tradition of skating them wasn't completely dead due to the climate change.
