anthony bourdain kills himself

Is that no narcotics, or no drugs at all? Like was he off his anti-depressants or something?

It depends what tests were performed. It is not unusual for a limited panel of tests to be performed when there is a known cause of death. Typically this panel would include the SAMHSA panel and a few other drug classes. Usually the test method is immunoassay. When there is an unknown cause of death, expanded test panels can be run that include GC-MS, LC-MS/MS, or LC-TOF (or a combination of all three). They are much more comprehensive and include many more classes of drugs such as SSRIs or betablockers etc.

It is important to remember that a negative toxicology report only means that it was negative for the compounds tested or that the amounts indicated were below a predetermined threshold.

CNN will be showing one of Bourdain's last shows Sunday night. He will be featuring one of my bucket list destinations - Bhutan.

I'll get it done. Just really found out about Bhutan in the past 2-3 years.
