Ask Me About Living In Hotels

I did it for 8 months straight. In about 12 different cities.

I know nobody cares but its probably the only thing I'm educated about and I wanted to feel important and start my own thread.

LOL! I got neg rep'd for "Posting random stuff".

My question was pretty specific and prompted.

Bite me neg rep'r.

When you check out, do you ask the clerk to separate out the porn movies from other charges on your credit card from the receipt you turn in to work? Do you find this embarassing?

I've been living in a hotel since mid-December. I'm completely over it.

its too bad the neg reps are generally anonymous (unless they sign it) b/c i would be willing to bet its the same group of no sense of humor busy body pricks in most instances. i have been taking neg rep as a positive thing. somebody commented that he or she thought i was simply trying to get pos rep with some stupid parody thread i made.

I suppose I'm lucky my work doesn't require me to travel.

Not embarrassing at all. You just got to go find the night clerk who looks like a enormous perv, in reality they're all pervs, and ask him to do it.

We got a special rate at a Residence Inn. Not my money, so I'm not going to argue.

Yeah that was my situation. I usually stayed at Residence Inns. I didn't mind it at first because we had suites but in the end its still a hotel.

Did the same thing. 3 months in one straight to 4 months in another to 2 months in another.

And. it. sucks.

It's not terrible. I have a kitchen and a fireplace, so it's a bit of a step up from a regular hotel room...but like you say, it's still a hotel.
