Couldn't find that we had covered this one before, which is a little surprising.

Planning on dinner with two other couples in GBoro before the George Strait concert this weekend. Any recommendations? We are staying at Comfort Suites by the airport if that matters.

One of the other couples mentioned Europa, Grey's Tavern, or Nico's.

We aren't fancy (hence George Strait) and are just looking to have a nice meal and a few drinks.

Here are the last two threads that talked about dining in the area. Some of the recs might be a bit to fancy for what you're looking for. I really like Cafe Europa (guessing that's what you are talking about) or the restaurants on Walker/Elam like Fish Bones, Filling Station, Emma Keys (flat top burgers), or Sticks & Stones (pizza).

Seoul Garden has great Korean food. That's the only Greensboro restaurant rec I ever give.

Apparently I need the refresher course on using the search function....Thanks!

I would recommend Fishbone's, Filling Station, Sticks and Stones (all at the corner of Walker and Elam) or Josephine's (on Spring Garden). All are good and all our convenient to the coliseum.

Liberty Oak on Elm is my old standby.

This is pretty much our list for pre-Strait on Sat.

Don the noodle place on Tate Street is really good. Natty Greene's downtown has good food and beer.

We recently had dinner at Imperial Koi and it was really good. Great sushi selection as well as other seafood dishes and Asian influenced stuff. And there's a wine bar right next door if you need to pregame more before the show. It's on New Garden between Battleground and Bryan Blvd.

All I these are good. As is Bianca's, near the coliseum.

They own Cafe Pasta on State Street also.

Her brother owns Cafe Pasta which is not nearly as good as Pastabilities. If you are down to the list you mentioned above, I would recommend Sticks and Stones. Great gourmet brick oven pizzas and a great draft beer selection.
