ATP: Southern Europe Vacation Recs?

We're looking at a brief jaunt to somewhere in Southern Europe in the next few months. Probably no more than 4-5 days - just for a quick getaway, so probably 1-2 spots, as opposed to an extended tour. We're pretty flexible on origin airport - NY, Philly, DC, BWI, doesn't really matter.

Looking at Portugual, Spain, southern Italy, Greece, etc. Not really interested in France or N. Africa. Suggestions?

Just booked a trip to Berlin (marathon), Munich (Oktoberfest) and Prague, a friend turned us on to the European Destinations website, haven't made the trip yet but we were very impressed with the price and ability to create your own trip. Might be worth checking out.
