How easy was Fed's path to the finals?

Leading up to the final, "JesusFed" played no one ranked better than #20 in the world (Berdych); Fed only played one other seeded player in the tournament (#30 in the world Gasquet); his three matches he has played leading up to the final were against: #80 Marton Fucsovics, #20 Berdych and# 58 Chung, who quit. Fed faces tougher fields in the Zurich Open. This is like a typical Duke run in the NCAAs.
