Not sure that being referred to as "similarly woeful" to a program that set a standard for losing that hadn't been accomplished in 70 years is good, but hey, it got the name Wake Forest in the Boston Globe anyhow.
 
We had 3 wins. Two were over BC. They've had 5 straight losing seasons. We've had 6. Similarly woeful.
 
The common thread seems to be a shared indifference to athletics from our two schools' respective presidents. Our struggles can be laid squarely at the feet of Hatch and Wellman.
 
Can you imagine any newspaper in NC putting that kind of a spotlight on WFU? Wellman continues to laugh all the way to the bank.
 
Why doesn't the Winston-Salem Journal do a similar article on the ineptitude of WFU's revenue sports?
