CJ, Codi and Madison played terrific. They played without fear, got to the rim, pressured the ball, doubled well in the post, forced turnovers and hit shots (16/24). Obviously the win itself was nice, but getting that out of the guards as a collective bunch is something I've wanted to see all year.

Madison is going to be a really good player once he develops something of an offensive game. Absolutely love his intensity and ability to drive the lane.

CMM showing great ability to finish at the rim again. Time to cut out the long 2's and 3's for a while.

TO THE HOOP, buddy. #NotTonyChennault

Also, just wanted to add that I am glad Tony Fields decided to go elsewhere. Madison was a last minute scholly that many fans proclaimed as a wasted scholly at the time.

To be fair, his long range 2 with the clock winding down was huge for us. And he's hit that shot pretty consistently.

We really need CMM to be ready to assume a bigger portion of the scoring load next year. Today was good to see.

He's going to need to up his 3pt% to be an effective 2 guard, but that sort of thing isn't rare from the freshman to sophomore year.

CMM playing the 2 has everything to do with getting Madison on the court. CMM is already playing a lot of 2.
