Boston Marathon Bombing - Sgt McCarthy > PhDeac

So the older one took his girlfriend's car into the shop a few weeks ago and went to pick it up in an agitated state on Tuesday. The younger one was on campus at UMass-Dartmouth yesterday afternoon and gave a friend a ride across campus. Can't believe they didn't head out of the country after the bombing on Monday afternoon. Factor in how many bombs they had with them last night, and it sounds like they thought they would be able to stay in Boston and keep doing terrorist activities undetected. At the very least, the older guy's girlfriend had to be an accomplice. She couldn't have been totally clueless about why they had multiple pressure cookers in the apartment. With no escape plan, safe house, or cash on hand, it doesn't look like they part of a larger sleeper cell.

Really hard to believe they wouldn't have a good bit of cash on hand. Seems pretty obvious you might need it.
 
I'd have had my plane tickets booked for that evening. Best case scenario you're on a flight to wherever by the time they even get photos together. Worst case, well, now.
