I don't really like much on today's card. I'm only betting race as of now.
The Marathon is a total crapshoot and always is. These are the worst horses that will race today or tomorrow. It's a distance that is rarely raced at in North American. Take a shot, but I'd wait for tomorrow.
In the Juvenile Turf, you have to like the two favorites in some order. Being the BC, it should pay $25-30. A 4/5 box might be played.
The Dirt Mile is a race that can drive you crazy. If Verranzano shows up, he should win easily. But he doesn't show up all the time. The same is basically true about Goldenscents. If you need a bet to hold your interest bet a couple bucks to WP on longshot Holy Lute. His daddy won back-to-back BC Sprints his mom's dad is Holy Bull.
Juvenile Fillies Turf- I have placed a bet on this race- I bet Clenor to WP and an exacta box of Clenor/Al Tharkira/Vorda.
In the Distaff (the fillies and mares version of the BC Classic), there will three fillies at 8/5 to 5/2 and they should be. They have been beating each other all summer. Royal Delta is a Hall of Famer. Princess of Sylmar has been a very hot horse. Beholder loves the track. Flip a coin.
I'll do more about tomorrow this evening or tomorrow morning. It looks too chalky to me now. There could easily be 3-4 singles in the Pick 6.
