No. But it doesn't seem like the software is the problem. It's the brand, the community, the history, etc.

How does a Twitter show work? Most people just doomscroll on their phones. Are they gonna leave up Tucker’s tweet that is broadcasting that night’s episode? Also would be interested to know what percentage of his Fox audience knows how to even work Twitter.

Even Twitter isn't profitable, so it might be hard justifying an expense to build something similar?

But Musk sure is making it toxic by giving the most terrible people the most exposure.

Why waste billions of dollars ? Have you not seen what we’ve become as a society. If you want to actually moderate billions of posters you’ve set yourself up to lose money.
 
Not everything that's useful is going to make a profit.

Thankfully we have government to provide those functions for things like bridges and lighthouses and whatever. But we don't want government running a social media platform for obvious reasons. So we're stuck with people who want to use social media to manipulate people for profit or incredible wealthy people who don't need to make money but want to manipulate people for their own benefit.

You have no idea how difficult it is just to moderate this little board. I can’t image having to work with billions of Twitter users and bots.
 
I didn’t mean to imply it’d be easy.

Just possible to do better than MuskTwitter.
