Candidate rumor--Tim DeRuyter Fresno State coach

I know squat about him, but I'm skeptical of a defensive genius who had 62 hung on him less than a week ago...
 
If I remember correctly, his name came up as a possible DC to replace Hood. He's done well for himself. I'd be afraid he'd retain staff though.
 
Fresno struck me as more than a bit overrated. Defensive genius? Not so sure. Also had the benefit of an ace QB. If Lembo is actually in the running for the job, then I think it's a pretty easy decision.
 
He played and coached for grobe, I doubt he'd want to replace him.
 
This has to be a troll job. No way would someone want to go from Fresno to Wake.
 
Should've been our DC after Hood left, but don't think he'll be interested in the gig
