The median home price, the point at which half of all homes are sold for more and half are sold for less,fell in all parts of the country in February.
In the Northeast, the median price fell to $230,200 from $236,500 and it was down 9.5 percent over last year's price.
The median price in the Midwest dropped to $122,000 from $126,300 in January. The new price is down 5.4 percent from February 2010.
In the South, the price declined to $134,600 from $136,600 in January and fell 3.9 percent in a year-over-year comparison.
The median price in the West fell to $190,000 from $193,200 and fell 5.2 percent from the previous year.
