I'm doing the same starting after the Super Bowl Feb 1st, but it will have to last 6 months. Doctors orders.

I'm not sure what I would drink instead. I'd probably get really, really into herbal teas or something.

Water is too boring.

Damn dude. What did you do to piss off your doctor?
Nothing, just going on a significant, doctor monitored diet. Its come to this because the "eat less pants fit fatty" diet hasnt worked. This particular diet has a zero tolerance alcohol policy, but is the quickest and safest way to get the weight off. It's supposed to be done by the middle of the summer, it just depends on how much weight I want to lose overall. I hope to be back down to my college weight by then.

I'll end up drinking a ton of water. Supposedly diet drinks will be ok, but I'll find out for sure in a couple weeks.

I am going to try to not drink alcohol from Sun-Wednesday. I love wine with dinner, but no so much the empty calories. I am beginning to train for a half marathon, so hopefully that will help as well. I am going to be B-O-R-I-N-G.

Wine is defs gonna replace weekday beer drinking this year. Not really for health reasons, just starting to get into wine.

I'm going to limit to no more than two drinks during the week. So whether that be wine with dinner or bourbon after no more than 2.

I have to have tea in the fridge because I can't stand water with dinner.

I could say that I'm going to limit wine/beer to certain days, but I know that's a lie. I don't do any of it excessively as it is, so I'm just going to keep on keeping on as it makes sense w/ training.

I will say - sparkling water/soda water with lime is a great alternative to just boring water.

i also resolved to cut back on the casual evening beer(s) during the week; much prefer to have a glass of wine while making dinner or a bit some scotch after dinner

not about shame, it's about the 9lbs i've gained since sept. and the only difference is slightly less gym time and more casual drinking

My doctor told me I need to "significantly cut back" on my alcohol consumption. Then he also said I get more exercise than I should, so I figure those two should cancel each other out. Therefore, no change needed.

I havent been to a doctor in 12 years, y'all just sound like pussies
