my tune will change in a month or so when the temps are below freezing, but right now, i actually think swimming is more painful. i've been going to a masters swim practice 3 times each work week at 6:00 AM, and it's so, SO cold on the drive over there, because i'm sitting still. by the time i'm there, jumping into cold water is the absolute last thing in the world i want to do. at least with running, the second i walk out my door, i start moving and get warmed up a bit. plus, with layering, i can stay somewhat warm.

how's the swimming going, deachoops?
pretty well. i was a competitive swimmer growing up, so i've always liked it. i just needed to get back into swim shape. i still have a ways to go (damn butterfly suuuuuuuuucks when you're out of shape), but i really, really like the coach and enjoy the practices.
