Been watching the Three Body Problem on Netflix and it's pretty good. I dig the genre in general though. It's making me want to read the book but now I don't want to spoil anything since the show is so good. What a tough world we live in.

i haven't finished the series yet but they are very different works.. though I think the series is definitely jumping much further ahead of book 1 in some aspects so you probably wouldn't get too spoiled on the key stuff reading the books after this season is over

books are a lot more dense and a lot more china-focused (obviously), with fewer characters involved

Also need to watch the latest Shogun episode from last night. i'm sure folks have talked about it but that show is hitting on all cylinders for me. Great adaptation so far.

after i lose all interest in wake sports because college sports is dying, still gonna keep these boards running so i can still feel younger than most of the CT posters (as long as YB and numbers slow their rolls)

Have y'all considered an RFA for this kid? I think you'd have a claim for protection from harm/stalking. Depending on how long they dated, a PO or RFA might be appropriate.

Thank you for this. Yes, we have. My wife is close with her school's resource officer and we've consulted with my kid's therapist and her school guidance counselor. The feedback we've gotten is that it would be a tough case to pursue and given the strains on resources here, would be unlikely to have much positive effect. A lot of the challenge is how circumstantial this stuff is, there's not a lot of direct proof, and it'll go away for a month at a time giving us hope that maybe the tyrant has moved on.
