It was announced today that the first luncheon of the 2011 season will take place on Thursday, September 8.
"Join head football coach Jim Grobe for an inside perspective on the Demon Deacons' home opener against NC State and a reflection on the season opener at Syracuse. Coach Grobe will host his second luncheon on Thursday, October 13, before the Deacons take on Virginia Tech for Homecoming weekend.
Head men's basketball coach Jeff [Redacted] will join Coach Grobe on Thursday, November 3, for the third coaches luncheon of the fall. The football team will be preparing for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to come to town, while the men's basketball squad will be primed for their first showing on the court the following day in an exhibition game against Ferrum College.
All the luncheons will begin promptly at noon, and they are open to the public at a cost of $12 per person. The exact location is the Snead Room on the second floor of Bridger Field House."
