That is spring valley/northeast columbia area. Nice area- very suburban. Would be a good bit away from night life spots though.

I personally hate Columbia, but others will tell you it's a nice place. I really don't know for sure, but every time I visit I think it's a dump.

Columbia is like a lot of other SEC towns. Nice college town, kind of shitty city. Tuscaloosa, Gainesville, Lexington and Baton Rouge are similar places.
