Does anyone know if there's a way to change a .png file into a .jpg file?

Or at least change .png into something that can be modified?

Assuming it's a logo for your next great book to sell on the Wake boards and then get pissed that people know all about you, leave it as PNG. PNG is a lossless format, as compared to JPG which is lossy. Otherwise, should you convert to JPG, you end up with images that look really awful like on this website I found:
