Concrete Charley has died.

He wore #60 because he was a sixty minute man. An Ivy league tough guy. RIP

Sad news, but not unexpected.

Condolences to his widow and all his family and friends.

Last of the full time two way players, key guy on both of the Eagles NFL championships.

The "concrete Charlie" nickname came from his off-season job of selling concrete. NFL didn't pay very well back then, not really enough to raise a family on.
 
One tough SOB. He thought today's players are overpaid pansies . Compared to him, they are. He missed three games in 14 years.
