But please keep us posted when the # of FL deaths (despite having a population of over 2M more people) come within 1/7th of the NY total.
Does population density have anything to do with these rates? For instance, NYC is approaching 9 million people. The largest city in Florida is Jacksonville (~ 1 million). Florida's population is spread out more evenly across their state along the coasts and through Orlando. In theory they should be able to distance better and keep deaths down. So what is preventing them from doing a better job at it?
