Eraserhead, Hoop Dreams, Grey Gardens are ones I've seen and would recommend. I imagine there are better films on there though from those that know more than me about it.

Thanks for the tip. I'm hoping to catch a couple, so much pressure to decide which ones.

As for my recommendation, I'll just give an enthusiastic one for Seven Samurai.

The CC is so vast it's hard to just name a few. You can't go wrong with anything directed by Bergman, Truffaut, Godard, Kurosawa, or Bunuel. For someone who is just starting out with the collection I'd recommend Breathless, The 400 Blows, The Seventh Seal, Ivan's Childhood, The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie, or High and Low. Those are all good starting points.

F for Fake is pretty cool and a fun little movie.

I haven't seen Opening Night, but I like Cassavetes.
