My brother is about to coach his first varsity game tonight because I’m out with Covid and I am absolutely loving how much he is freaking out right now.

I still think the Cardinal has my favorite burger I’ve had. Coyote Kitchen is also top notch. Booneshine has great beer and the food is some of the best I’ve had at a brewery. If looking for a fancy night out, the Gamekeeper. Cobo for sushi. Couple of different pizza spots that are always good - AMB & Lost Province (both breweries with decent to good beer) & Capones.
 
Gamekeeper is p good. I like Visalia in Boone as well. Speckled Trout in Blowing Rock is dece.
 
How long would you guys wait for a meeting? I had the choice to head back to Winston today after a 3:00 meeting, OR hang around western NC to meet with a prospect I've been chasing for 2 years at 7pm, knowing I won't get back to Winston until 11 or midnight.

I chose the meeting, because I'm poor, and it's a good opportunity to make money if I sell them. But as time passes, I'm starting to wish I was home with my wife and daughter.

I spent 14+ years traveling to deliver on-site with customers. Not strictly sales but good job helps with renewals etc. Having said that I was on the road 35-40% of my workload. I missed a lot with my two kids. Can't get that time back. Very lucky to have started a great job back in August with no travel and a far better quality of life.

This is basically my whole life except for the good opportunity to make money part.
 
Also I need something to distract me because my guys tip off in like 45 mins and I feel absolutely helpless right now. I wonder if this is how Coach K felt the other night.
 
Are you able to watch at all? No idea how common live streams of HS hoops is nowadays.

One of the few venues that doesn’t have livestream that we play this year. It’s at our biggest rival too. So I’m just sitting here pounding espolon waiting for text updates from our parents and girls coach. It’s absolutely torturous.
