I imagine the reason for that would be similar to why the tributes from district 1 and 2 teamed up during the Hunger Games.

Also, you are the heir to a BEER EMPIRE. That is cooler than selling insurance or encyclopedias or whatever keeper does when he's not trolling this board. I am taking the mods' silence on this issue to mean they are figuring out technical logistics and appropriate placement of the Spider Hole.

this is true. if anyone tries that noob ish with me i will invite them to join me for a month on the trucks. not the same as planning a house.

how awesome would that be? like if that ever happens, i forsee a lot of posters here getting into that market. you guys should all start saving money so you can get the market in like kansas or something.

I don't think that means the criticism is entirely inaccurate, though. I come from a long line of petite bourgeoisie and while my uncle certainly had to work his ass off when my grandfather had a stroke when my uncle was 18 or so, running the meatpacking plant was still an opportunity that wasn't and isn't open to other people. Even though it's hard work, small businesses like your family's and my family's are still a safety net.

i can't help my situation. i just know i'll be damn good at it too. no point in paying for law school or becoming a teacher, writer, etc.
 
I'm just so damn happy today. And its amazing outside. I might go to park and just lay in the grass. Such a gorgeous day.

No doubt. Keep doing what you're doing. I do think it's worthwhile to bear in mind how fortunate you (and others in similar situations) are to have such a career to go into. Basically the Michael Lewis cookie thing from his Princeton commencement address this year.

Oh absolutely. It's a tremendous opportunity and i'm fortunate and excited about it. I'm not going to stroll into an office position though... I want some respect too.

Yes it is. I got up this morning and did a major cleaning of the outside of the house. Our neighbors probably thought I was crazy.

So I cancelled my Tux rental and am looking into getting an older black suit of mine(RL from Dillards or something) altered. I think it may need significant work. My budget is <$150.

I'm going to call some tailors tomorrow and see what they can do.
