Insel Airlines is having a great sale on tickets from CLT to the ABC islands. They fly non-stop to Curacao on Saturdays. You connect to the other islands from there. I've flown Insel twice with no real problems (planes are usually one hour late)

I just booked RT flights to Curacao for mid October at a total cost of $317.90pp. One checked bag is included.

This sale ends in four days.

I fly non-rev but that is a ridiculous price. $320 RT? Damn.

Anyone want to comment on stuff to do or what these islands are like?

Could I just stop in Curaco? The flight to Bonaire goes through Curaco and is half as much for the dates I checked. Could I book for Bonaire and just hop off in Curaco when the planes switch?

Looked up flights in 2014 and they arent that cheap. What are the sale terms?

typically the airline will cancel the rest of your trip if you try something like this.

Aruba is nice beaches and fancy restaurants and a casino. Bonaire is snorkeling and scuba diving. I've never been to Curacao, but I believe it's interesting architecture and history.

Aruba has lots of Americans. Wide sandy beaches, decent snorkeling and diving. More activities and nightlife than the other two islands. Hot and breezy every day. Very little rain and no hurricanes. Some really fine restaurants.

Curacao has more Europeans and is more laid back. Beaches are prettier, but mainly in coves. Much better snorkeling. Diving is said to be equal to, but different than Aruba. Same weather and better restaurants, IMO.

Bonaire has much better diving and also better snorkeling (from what I've heard as I've never been there). Again, same weather...not as much to do outside of the water stuff.

Forgot about the casinos. Car rental and driving is easy on Aruba and Curacao; don't know about Bonaire.

We've been to Aruba five times and Curacao twice. We prefer Curacao for the snorkeling and less crowded beaches, but wouldn't hesitate to go back to Aruba. The main city on Curacao is very cool with interesting historical sites and a floating produce market (from Venezuela).
