Daniel Green at Faith 7 Basketball Bowl

Quick look shows that Texas lost to the Oklahoma team. But the picture linked (second below) of Wake commit Danel Green is heartening. Excerpt from pre-game piece about Green:

“At Wake Forest, I’m closer to a big part of my family in North Carolina,” Green said. “I have grandmothers, aunts and cousins there.”

Green averaged 12 points and 10 rebounds at Grapevine High School while shooting 58 percent from the floor. He collared a school-record 22 rebounds in one game.
