I think it's pretty clear that Sarr, Mitchell and Brown have hit the freshman wall. I 'believe' based on some of their earlier flashes they are going to be much bigger contributors next year.
Danny has quite a few challenges, personally, as a coach, but anyone that thinks he's getting fired this year is completely delusional.
Of all the things Danny talks about it's contently defense. I can't tell if he believes it or is just saying the words (i.e. Skip). The problem is that 2 of our top 7 (MW and Woods) are a liability on defense. Most guards can shoot over Chill and Thompson doesn't really add much. Moore is big, but has yet to master a complete post defense game (while his offense has developed, the biggest plus on defense is he stopped fouling). Crawford should be better, but he's much more of a risk taker on defense, going for steals, on a decent defensive team that would be fine but it just exposes our poor defense. Brown seems to be the only guy that understands solid defense, but his play has not been consistent enough keep him on the floor.
