BUMMER...great guy and the players all love him. Does anyone know if he left or is the equipment manager position no longer considered staff level?
 
Dang, he's been there for over 15 years.
 
Yeah. I heard from a player that he was no longer with the team back in December, but never heard where he ended up.
 
Thought there was an issue with not having back up head sets for communication between sideline and coaches box at ULM.

They fired a 15 year employee for not having backup headsets?
 
Casstevens and Wellman had it in for that guy from day one.
 
Pretty sure it's a case of Clawson wanting all of his own guys in here, nothing more than that. There were headset issues for the first few plays against ULM, but pretty sure they were remedied quickly. Also, IIRC ULM didn't use headsets either until we got ours back up and working. Could be wrong there.

Not so, look at post game Tuesday news conference interview of Clawson. It occured during entire game. He was major-league pissed.
