I’m a recent convert and won’t be going back to using one.

I’ve gone back to using a flat sheet.

My 10 year old is either or on using a flat sheet, blanket, or comforter. He loves blankets and brings one or two on trips. My 13 year old is all comforter.

Top sheet, then slightly thicker blanket, then comforter/bed spread type of deal.

A comforter by itself often gets me way too hot, especially here in Texas. Helps to have the flat sheet option for warmer weather, and the thicker blanket as something of an in-between option. I maybe use a comforter 4 months out of the year, and it isn't like I'm sleeping in pajamas.

I think Gen Z likes their comforters because they need their safe spaces and to hide from the bogeyman. Buncha pussies.
