Pretty amazing but also surprising that it hasn't happened before.
London Gatwick has been shut down for 24 hours due to a (several?) drone that has been spotted off and on throughout the day. Hundreds of thousands of passengers affected, with no end in sight. Military has been called in, sharpshooters have been seen and yet the drone continues to operate.
I can only imagine the number of copycats this will spawn, and potentially terrorist attacks as it appears quite clear there is no plan in place to counter what's happening.
