Wake men's basketball just changed their Twitter handle from @tiedyenation to @wakembb

Well past due if true. I loved the tie dyes but we need to move on.

Can be used as throwbacks for big games in the coming years.

RIP Naz-T

Still need to play Zombie Nation twice a game though.

So happy to just get that tweet announcing the change.

RIP Skip. The Tie Dyes were fun, but are a holdover from the Prosser Era. [Redacted] took a shit on those. Time to start fresh with Manning!

Even more disappointing and pathetic than the tie dyes are the people that so ravagely hate on the tie dyes.

It literally means nothing and at least gives fans some sort of "identity".

Never understood why grown men cared so much about what other people were wearing, or better yet, what other people thought of them for wearing it.

It isn't very cool when no one is wearing them, but you call yourself tie die nation.

Happy to see them retired, as long as sports marketing has something more cohesive planned to generate some momentum among the students and local fan base.

Loved Prosser but tie-dye never seemed a good fit to me - hard to think of another college less hippy than MSD.

But then, this is coming from someone who can't stand every fan base in America describing themselves as "nation."

so pink popped collar polo nation has a ring to it.

Well, we could paint the visitor's locker room in pastels.
