I'm not nearly as familiar with our football program as I am with our b-ball program. I know he was highly touted recruit (relatively speaking) that we took from michigan, but I have never heard anything from this kid. Any chance this kid starts? For anyone who has a chance to see him play, what are your thoughts on his chances?
I creep through football threads sometimes and I know people express angst with our o-line (josh harris apparently has been particularly vocal). As such wouldn't a mobile qb help negate some of that weakness? Also, when this team inexplicably decided to run the option, why didn't we throw him out there, or at least rotationally?
Plus there is this:

if we can run the ball from a traditional set, at least a qb who can create yards on busted plays will keep a defense honest and on it's toes.
