ESPN season review

Is he wrong?
Grobe's later teams were routinely worse in November than September. 2003 as well for that matter.
And the lack of size and talent we have now didn't happen by accident.

This is correct. Really horrendous job the last five years.
 
Have heard from multiple individuals close to the situation that the staff was shocked at the conditioning of the team when they arrived. This is just a "light" version of what they really think. Respect them for not saying more during the spring and the season.
 
Now we know why Camp and others elected to go to their own S&C guy.
 
WOW! What in God's name happened to our recruiting of O-line talent over 4-5 years to have this happen? Our O-line stats are damning. Wolford is one tough SOB and I'm excited about his future--hopefully with an improved line and running game. Glad the main problem has been diagnosed, is measurable, and being treated.
 
We have basically been discussing how bad our oline is for the past 6 years. It might take Clawson a few more seasons to develop and turn this oline around. Hopefully sooner rather than later....but we definitely need an upgrade of talent there.
