Facebook Parenting for the Troubled Teen

I saw that Child Protective services showed up to talk to him the other day. CNN was also talking about whether the police could get involved :wtf:

Saw a story about it on the local news yesterday while I was at the gym. he's outside the city limits so he didn't break the law in Albemarle. The sheriff's department went out there and took a look around and determined he didn't break the law. End of story.

However this yokel is now telling everyone that he was basically patted on the back by the sherifffs for his action, which they vehemently denied. He has also announced that he's now ready to move on with his life. Sorry asshole.

Wait what crime could he have possibly committed?

CNN mentioned that it's illegal to fire a weapon within city limits. But he lives outside city limits, apparently in another county, so it really had nothing to do with the story.

He lives in Stanly County, but not within the city limits of Albemarle. Albemarle is in Stanly County. Discharging a wespon within the city limits is illegal, but not in unincorporated parts of the county.

It's not like the guy is totally out in the country though. From watching the story on the news it looks like he lives in a double-wide on a couple of acres, not on some 100- acre farm.
