Fallout from paying playaer in revenue sports

But that flaw is essentially already there. Kids choose Duke over Creighton because of the exposure they will get at Duke, knowing that can help them get drafted or be more we'll-know for their first endorsement deals as a professional. I think the real issue would be that Nike can directly pay Oregon players to come to Oregon. Same for UA and Maryland. Or Flow and Wake, etc.

Partially true. College football became much more competitive when they limited the scholarships to 85 and everybody got to play on TV. The top kids still went to the top schools, but the 3 and 4 stars started going to other places where they could get to play and still be on TV. Make it where they will get paid more money from being a backup at Texas, Alabama, etc and it will go back to the haves and have-nots.
