The play he made is the kind of plays winning football teams make. The pass was completed over the middle and instead of giving up, he chased down the receiver and forced a fumble. Maybe this doesn't deserve a separate thread, but plays like this are often overlooked but can win games.
 
At this point, every player deserves their own thread.
 
One element of ALL Clawson teams- no quit in them. I can not remember a Wake team that has not played hard. Some that did not play well, but always hard.
 
Yes. This don't give up on any play attitude will be the difference in close games. And it makes some games that might be close end up not so close.

That is the mindset good football players have to have. First they have to believe they can make plays. Holmes believed he could catch the receiver, so he ran and made the play. Kudos to him for doing that.

In a close game, that kind of play could be the difference in a close game.
