So you need an ID to protest but not to vote? mhmm....

...board a plane...buy a gun...drive a car...go into another country...come back into our country...join the military...get a job...open a bank account...sometimes to enter your workplace...buy alcohol...but cigarettes...buy a lotto ticket...enter a club...get a loan...

I could do this all day.

I think you need valid ID to get a job as head basketball coach at Wake Forest even if you suck dog ass.
