Whiskey 10 is The Lost Distilleries Blend Batch 11 (104.6 pf). I’ve liked the Lost Distilleries range that I’ve tried in the past. These are blends created from distilleries that have shuttered but that have had barrels lying around. This is a blend of malt whisky from Caperdonich, Rosebank, Imperial, Mosstowie, Glen Mhor, Glenisla, Glenlochy, Craigduff, Port Ellen and Brora, along with grain whisky from Port Dundas. The nose is really strong and complex. Maybe banana bread and vanilla. The taste also has a lot going on with it. Honey, dried fruit, vanilla, a little oaky a little fudgey. Nice heat to it. This is definitely the most interesting whiskey so far in the box and also my favorite. I want more of this. Now. Fuck. This is my jam.
