Per MSNBC tv, a train carrying Rep congressmen to a retreat crashed into a trash truck outside of Charlottesville.
 
Nah, no metaphor attempted in my title.

Hope everyone’s ok. Apparently, one person was taken for medical care.
 
At least one dead in the truck and one more seriously injured.

But appropriate that this group of GOP would hit a garbage truck and spew trash all over the place.

Agreed, what kind of grown as man goes on a retreat? If you want to go on a retreat take your wife or side girl on a vaca or something.
 
Devil's advocate for retreats: lots of professions (and especially government) still use retreats to get the ball rolling for upcoming agendas. It's hard to actually get through anything or get to the meat of something in a one hour meeting, and that's often times all there is time for in a normal work day/week. OTOH, throwing everyone in a room and making them actually talk to each other is hugely helpful to the planning process.
 
Is the truck OK? but seriously though, thoughts and prayers to the sanitation crew and the train conductor(?)

Sadly, one person from the truck is dead. Two others have been airlifted to a hospital.

There is garbage all around the Members of Congress.
 
Sometimes metaphors just write themselves and we just sit back and watch.
