Collins with a baseline three early vs. Heat on NBA TV. Crazy that wasn't part of his game at Wake.

Collins has continued to expand his game since he left Wake. Like, he learned more basketball in his years as a professional basketball player. A guy getting better at his chosen profession with more experience. Who would ever guess that could happen.

But Manning was still correct to not try and play him with another big. It would have clogged up the lane too much and Collins did not have enough variety in his game to get an opponent to respect him outside of 5 feet.

There is no way the extra rebounding and additional interior defense would have made up for the ability to get up more 3-point shots by the Wake guards.
