Heart Rate Monitor Recommendations

Does anyone have any HR monitor recommendations? Every review I read for the multiple choices has as many bad reviews as good ones. I'm looking for one for myself and one for RaleighDeacon.

i have this one - watch with chest strap.

Dont like the look, but works find and most machines pick up the signal, so you dont have to keep your hands on the silver pads (that read the HR from your grip).

I imagine it depends on the setting and whether you're catching or pitching.
