How Breitbart+Milo Smuggled Nazi and White Nationalist Ideas Into The Mainstream

Ernst Röhm (who coincidentally was murdered in the night of the long knives) and a number of other key SA leaders who were the earliest Hitler supporters and fueled his rise were homosexuals.

Being gay, being sexually attracted to another race, etc - none of that means you can't also be a Nazi.

Ok, straight up, I think you're wrong here.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Pink_Swastika

According to the authors, homosexuality found in the Nazi Party contributed to the extreme militarism of Nazi Germany. The title of the book, as well as the book itself, is a reference to The Pink Triangle: The Nazi War Against Homosexuals, a book in which Richard Plant details homophobia in the Nazi Party and the homosexual victims of Nazism. Lively and Abrams also take up the subject of Nazism in America and discuss the Boy Scouts. They state that many leaders in the German Nazi regime, including Adolf Hitler himself, were homosexual and says that eight of the top ten serial killers in the US were homosexuals. They claim that persecution of homosexuals was only directed towards feminine homosexuals. One significant source for The Pink Swastika was Samuel Igra's Germany's National Vice, which Lively refers to as "the 1945 version of The Pink Swastika."

Reception
Erik N. Jensen regards the authors' linkage of homosexuality and Nazism as the recurrence of a "pernicious myth", originating in 1930s attacks on Nazism by Socialists and Communists and "long since dispelled" by "serious scholarship".[7]

Further:

Upon the rise of Adolf Hitler and the National Socialist German Workers Party (the Nazi Party) in Germany, gay men and, to a lesser extent, lesbians, were two of the numerous groups targeted by the Nazis and were ultimately among Holocaust victims. Beginning in 1933, gay organizations were banned, scholarly books about homosexuality, and sexuality in general, (such as those from the Institut für Sexualwissenschaft, run by Jewish gay rights campaigner Magnus Hirschfeld) were burned, and homosexuals within the Nazi Party itself were murdered. The Gestapo compiled lists of homosexuals, who were compelled to sexually conform to the "German norm."

Further still:

Between 1933 and 1945, an estimated 100,000 men were arrested as homosexuals, of whom some 50,000 were officially sentenced.[1] Most of these men served time in regular prisons, and an estimated 5,000 to 15,000 of those sentenced were incarcerated in Nazi concentration camps.[1] It is unclear how many of the 5,000 to 15,000 would die in the camps, but leading scholar Rüdiger Lautmann believes that the death rate of homosexuals in concentration camps may have been as high as 60%. Homosexuals in the camps were treated to an unusual degree of cruelty by their captors.

I am not a nazi. I am not a homosexual. Are there some Nazi's out there who are closet homosexuals? Probably. Are there some homosexuals out there who are closet Nazi's? Maybe.

But a flamboyantly gay man like Milo just cannot be a nazi. He would have a pink triangle slapped on him instantly, and he's be shipped straight off to the camps.

There are tons of other reasons to dislike Milo, why is there such a drive to associate him with Nazis?

Mercer is in some deep shit right now.

Why does this Mercer stuff matter?

Why does this Mercer stuff matter?

He and his daughter have been bankrolling Steve Bannon and Breitbart for the past several years. Mercer is also a big investor in Cambridge Analytica (see below).

GOP megadonor requested Trump's data firm organize hacked Clinton emails

Cambridge Analytica funder and Trump donor Rebekah Mercer received an email in August 2016 from someone she had recently met at a political event, suggesting that they create a searchable data base for Hillary Clinton emails in the public domain.

Mercer then forwarded the suggestion to several people, including Cambridge Analytica CEO Alexander Nix, asking if this is something they could do.

That is what prompted Nix's email response that he had contacted Julian Assange two months earlier asking for Clinton's emails, according to a source familiar with the Mercer and Nix email chain.

Bump:

Must read. A pretty conservative editor (who helped publish books for Donald before) just absolutely tears into Milo as is revealed through a lawsuit between Milo and his publisher following the publisher canceling his book deal.

It's almost as if the Breitbart and far right logic falls well short when actually scrutinized by any real standards. Shocking I know.

Well yeah Chuck. I blame you media types for giving this asshole attention. It’s not hard to book reasonable conservatives to make cohesive arguments. Instead they book and report on flame throwers like Milo and the alt right.
