Maybe adult voters respond to the same simple messages that would appeal to a child, which could explain the "dumbing down" trend people speak of. That said, the sheer volume of indicators guarantee that something would give a 17-2 record. Washington is on bye this Sunday, so that trend doesn't work this time around.
