I was thinking how interesting it would be if rather than seceding, Christian Conservatives just founded their own country - sort of a combination of Liberia and Israel. What type of government would it have? Would there be freedom of religion? A conscription army? A free press?
 
How conservative? If we are talking hardcore fundamentalist it would look a lot more like Afghanistan than any western country.
 
The Christian Democratic Union has governed Germany for most of the post-war period and they're ok.





Oh. We're talking about American right-of-center "Christians". Nevermind then.
 
If we're talking the conservatives of the US, you'd end up with about a dozen other nations. You'd start with one, the group in power would do something to grab more power, the oppressed would then break off and start another country. Rinse and repeat.

Only people who thought as they do could vote or work in their country.

There would be a Dinosaurs and Man Memorial museum where you could emulate your ancestors and ride dinosaurs.
