Set aside the practicalities as applied to Wake or whether you like the "coach in waiting" concept at all. Answer as if it's a given that Wake would do this.

I though about Steve Spurrier Jr. at USCe as a result of name recognition, experience, familiarity with our recruiting territory and the fact that he knows a small academic school can win because he knows what his Dad did at Duke. Steve Sr. was pulled by UF boosters back to his alma mater...Steve Jr. has no such obvious landing pad.
Also UF Coordinator Brent Pease comes to mind, though he would see us as a two year stepping stone.
These might be bad suggestions...anybody lighting it up at lower profile schools that come to mind?
