Ain't played nobody, PAWL!
Private charities do not require a gun to be pointed at anyone.
Isn't the NRA a nonprofit?

I don't mind income inequality. If you want more collectivism and income equality, you might want to move to Cuba. A free country would not be the place for you.

Why would I move? I am not the one constantly complaining about how our government is currently structured is or the broad efforts it makes to address certain societal issues as being "theft".
Responses like this just reek of passive aggressiveness and butthurt. It doesn't help your argument to reduce your opponent to the margins, especially by using the reductive and cliched call to socialist regimes. It's truth that the top % of American earners have gotten much richer in the last decade, while the rest of the country has stagnated or become poorer. It's unhealthy for a society to have such extreme wealth disparity, and calls for more bootstraps among the poor isn't going to remedy that.I don't mind income inequality. You do have a right to complain tjcmd. I just find your complaining repetitive and uncompelling. But complain away.
Then put me on ignore, ChrisL68. Don't bother advising me to move to another country.
Again, WTF are you talking about? Which public charity requires a gun to be pointed at anyone?
WITH A GUN

Government is force. It should be used sparingly. It should be used especially sparingly for "charity". True charity, without the use of force, is better.
I don't even need to consult Townie on this one - my post wasn't ironic. If you don't like my post then maybe you should encourage your fellow pubs not to cry "socialism" every time that someone fairly challenges the growing economic inequality in this country. Economic inequality and buying power stagnation is also negatively affecting the rural, nascar watching, 1st amendment protecting, duck dynasty t-shirt wearing republican voters. If they weren't being distracted by gay marriage and BENGHAZI!, they would notice.FE+E
Which government agency demands you donate to a charity at gun point? And please, please don't say taxes...
