White House is gonna be a major disappointment if he moves in.
Mr. Trump, a homebody who often flew several hours late at night during the campaign so he could wake up in his own bed in Trump Tower, is talking with his advisers about how many nights a week he will spend in the White House. He has told them he would like to do what he is used to, which is spending time in New York when he can.
President Barack Obama as of Friday has spent all or part of 138 days on vacation, less time away from the White House than his predecessors. Here’s a look at how they compare. The totals exclude trips to the Camp David presidential retreat in Maryland mountains.
GEORGE W. BUSH: During eight years in the White House, spent all or part of 490 days at his ranch in Crawford, Texas.
BILL CLINTON: During two terms in office, used all or part of 174 days for vacation. Of those, 100 days were summers either in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, or Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
RONALD REAGAN: During two terms, spent all or part of 349 days at his ranch in Santa Barbara, California.

It'll be a yuge downgrade, believe it
Not after Trump finishes the remodel.

ON TIME and UNDER BUDGET
Was in DC recently and Secret Service and Homeland Security had streets around the White House blocked off for four blocks late on a Saurday afternoon. Watched Obama's motorcade (20-30 vehicles) roll up to the WH. Very last vehicle was an SUV with a manned Gatling gun sticking out the roof. Wouid be chaos if they ever had to open fire in DC or NYC.
Don't believe Trump Tower has a heliport, so Trump wouid be rolling through Midtown with streets shut down every time he's in NYC. Pennsylvania Avenue's been shut down to traffic by the WH since at least 9/11. Will have to shut down Fifth Ave near Trump Tower whenever Trump's in NYC.
