Iran floats trial balloon about nuclear talks

CNN is reporting this morning that Obama ordered a drone strike of the trial balloon.

So it's not good that the ayatollahs are taking a new stance? For the first time in decades the ayatollahs are moving towards sanity. Shouldn't we at least find out if this is real rather than deciding it can't work?

No one has said it's not good if the Ayatollahs are taking a new stance. And no one has decided it can't work. Why do you post shit like that, putting words in other peoples' mouths? And then you wonder why you get attacked.
 
The style of your post is partially self-contradictory in tone. "Interesting and all" = then "doesn't have full approval of the Ayatollahs.".

If you had inverted the clauses and "and all", there wouldn't have been any question of what you were saying. The way it is appears you are taking both sides.

That may not have been your intention, but it does look that way to me.
 
I made a simple declarative statement, the meaning of which should be clear enough to anyone. The Ayatollahs are the real power.

You read something into it that wasn't there.
