This is a little bizarre... the article makes it sound like an official statement, but it links to what looks like a blog post, and I can't find any news outlets reporting this statement independent of the Daily Caller. Are we sure it's not Assad's 11 year old son mouthing off again?

Hm, found something else from the guy who made the statement, apparently he wrote an article a year and a half ago about how Iran should attack Israel, and claimed it would only take them 9 minutes to wipe out the country. Interesting guy. (Link)
