Is there a way to using tethering on your iphone to connect your computer?

I think you have to jailbreak it which is the equivalent of rooting it.

Only has to be jailbroken if you want to try to get it for free.

Otherwise it's built in and can just be enabled in settings, but you will have to upgrade your plan to support tethering.

Yeah, I'd imagine he'd definitely want it for free. The hotspot plans suck price-wise.

You can't do USB tethering for free on an iPhone? That's surprising.
